Ompelusta innostuessani haaveilin tekeväni meille tytöille jotain kivaa ja yhtenäistä. Nyt ystävän kanssa tilasimme kankaita Itävallan lieblingsstueckelta ja pääsin vihdoin toteuttamaan haaveeni :)
Kaikki kaavat löytyivät Ottobren lehdistä. Itselleni Ottobre woman 5/2012 Stormy Blue toppi ja vanhemmalle tytölle Ottobre 4/2011 Dreamland "tunika" joka on jo pidemmän aikaa houkutellut sekä nuoremmalle Ottobre 4/2012 Mint paita.
Oma paitani Stormy Blue valmistui ensimmäisenä ja ompelu sujui kuin unelma :D Paitaa muokkasin sen verran että lisäsin helmaan hieman pituutta ja pääntien poimutus antaa kivasti ilmettä. Päätin huolitella pääntien samalla resorilla kuin lastenkin paidat, aika kiva lopputulos ja ylipitkät hihat ovat aivan ihanat <3
Vanhemman tytön 110 senttinen Dreamland toikin sitten muutamia mutkia matkaan, mutta en sentään yöunia menettänyt ;) Eli kyseisessä ohjeessa pääntie ja hihansuut poimutetaan joustonauhalla jonka jälkeen ne huolitellaan kaitaleella. Joustonauha ei meinannut millään suostua yhteistyöhön, mutta sain kuin sainkin sen taivuteltua tahtooni ;) Lopputulos raglanhihoineen oli tosi kiva ja kruunuksi ihana iso vaaleanpunainen nappi joka kiinnittyy kumilenkillä :)
Viimeisenä, vaan ei vähäisimpänä, nuoremman tytön Mint paita ilman suurempia kommervenkkejä. Ainoastaan tuo niskassa pukemista helpottava halkio ja samanlainen iso nappi kuin isosiskon paidassa. Ja tuo kuminauhalenkki on kyllä ihana keksintö :)
Nautin kovasti ja odotan innolla uusia haasteita!
When I got inspired by sawing I dreamed making us girls something nice and matching. We ordered some fabrics from Austria (lieblingsstueck) with my friend and finally I got the chance to fulfill my dream :)
All patterns are from Ottobre. My own Stormy Blue top from women 5/2012, my bigger girl got Dreamland tunic, I have been meaning to make for a while, from Ottobre 4/2011 and smaller one I made Mint from Ottobre 4/2012.
Stormy blue was the first one to finish and sawing was like a dream :D I added a little lenght for the hem and the neckline folding gives the shirt a little bit of look. I decided to titivate it with the same welt as the kids shirts. Nice looking result and I just love the overlong sleeves <3
Dreamland 110 cm for my older daughter gave me a little headache, but not enough to lose my sleep ;) This instruction held inside neckline and wristband folding and the elastic band wasn't cooperative, but finally I was able to bent it around ;) Lovely tunic with raglan sleeves and big pink button with closes with an elastic band crowns the result :)
Last, but not least, Mint for my younger one. No big specialty just the slit and a similar big button in the neck like her big sisters shirt. And I have to say that the rubber band loop is just a lovely invention ;)
I enjoyed and look forward for the next challenge!
